Chief Architect Software has released version X5 of its architectural home design and drafting software. The family includes four products for the professional design market: Premier, Interiors, Lite and an Academic version. New features include PDF import, shadow boards and ridge caps for added exterior detail, the National Kitchen and Bath dimension tool, an improved 3-D walkthrough tool and progressive ray tracing technology.
