DSV Decking Screws from Simpson Strong-Tie are designed for preservative-treated decking applications. The #10 shank diameter is designed to withstand expansion and contraction common with fast-growth lumber. Its fast-start hi-low tip enables it to pierce deck boards easily and the rimmed flat-head with underhead nibs ensures easier countersinking. Hand-drive screws or collated screw strips are available for use with the company’s Quik Drive auto-feed screw driving system.
