Scotchgard eliminates stains and streaks caused by algae on the Pristine Shingles, which include Pinnacle, StormMaster Shake and StormMaster Slate. 3M developed a copper granule to protect the roofing surface; the granule is used in a 10 percent blend rate in the Pristine Shingles, which is verified by a third-party laboratory.
