MFM Building Products' ShingleStarter is a self-adhering waterproofing membrane that eliminates the need to cut shingle tabs. The asphalt adhesive membrane bonds to the roofing substrate and comes with a sealing strip to prevent wind uplift at the roof edge. It seals around nails, staples, punctures and other fasteners. The 50-mil granulated products measures 7.2 in wide by 33 1/2 in. long.
