LP-fueled Portable Generator

Generac has introduced its LP5500 portable generator. The liquid propane-fueled unit can accommodate a 20- or 30-lb. tank. The PowerDial integrates all of the starting and operating controls into one mechanism. It has three positions -- one to prime the engine, one to run the generator and one to stop it. Other features include covered outlets, a digital hour meter and a hardened-steel tube cradle for durability.
