Porcelain Tile

Product From Ann Sacks

Designed by Italian architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni, Tidewater (shown) and Lath from Ann Sacks utilize up to 25-percent recycled materials within the tiles’ porcelain composition. Tidewater imparts a striae effect designed to be similar to the draping of a fine textile or the fluidity of warm clay. The irregularity of the tile design gives the surface its character and movement, according to the company. It is offered in two field sizes: 7-7/8”x70-7/8” and 31-1/2"x70-7/8". The design of Lath porcelain tile is inspired by the impression that remained when poured cement is removed from a wood cast. Lath is offered in 8"x47", 12"x47" and 24"x47" planks and is available in Whitewash, Beige, Clay and Ebony.

Antiqued Mirror Tile

Product From Ann Sacks

Versailles Mesh from Ann Sacks features a composition that resembles aged mirror, complete with mottling and dramatic colorations, yet weaves in a textural element for a modern edge. Designed to complement the company's Versaille tile, the medium for Versailles Mesh is security glass, which imbeds thin steel wiring into the glass field for strength. When used in this application, the wiring adds dimensional, geometric relief. The glass is hand-silvered by artisans employing 18th century mirror-making techniques, then hand-sanded to bring out its natural imperfections and finally hand-cut. Suitable for all vertical, dry applications, Versailles Mesh is offered in four colorways: Silver Flake, Rose Butter, Dark Bronze and Mercury. The tiles are available in 6”x6”, 6”x12”, 6”x24”, 12”x12”, 12”x24”, and 24”x24” fields, with custom sizes also available.
