Max Isley, CMKBD, has owned and operated Hampton Kitchens of Raleigh, Inc., since 1974. A licensed general contractor, he has been a Certified Kitchen Designer since 1981, longer than any other active designer in the state. His professional designations include Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD), Certified Bath Designer (CBD) and Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer (CMKBD). Max's custom kitchens have appeared in numerous award-winning Parade of Homes and Street of Dreams entries. Max has designed kitchens all over the United States and the world. He is an international speaker, consultant, and instructor for kitchen design and remodeling workshops, and is a member of the Speaker's Bureau of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA).

Rob Heselbarth is the editorial director for Qualified Remodeler and Residential Design + Build magazines and their online properties. Heselbarth began his career as a newspaper reporter, but has spent most of his time connecting with construction professionals through trade magazines and related online properties. Heselbarth has covered both residential and commercial design and construction since 1991. He is a regular speaker at housing and residential design industry events across North America. Markets Heselbarth has served throughout his career include: commercial and residential heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration; residential and commercial plumbing, contracting and design; and most recently custom home design, construction and residential remodeling. As editorial director, he shares design trends, best business practices and product information with more than 120,000 housing industry professionals.
